Andorra offers unique advantages for living and working. But why Andorra? What advantages does it offer?
Andorra has been creating prosperity and strength throughout its history since 843 until the present time, while giving rise to its own unique historical and cultural heritage.
Andorra boasts one of the most favourable tax systems in Europe. Among others, we have a general Corporation Tax (IS) rate, Personal Income Tax (IRPF) rate and Non-Resident Income Tax (IRNRF) rate of 10%, and a General Indirect Tax (IGI) rate of 4.5%.
Andorra has undertaken an ambitious process of economic openness, which has liberalised investments in and from our country. Likewise, Andorra is a member of 22 international organisation and has an extensive network of diplomatic representation worldwide.
Andorra has three educational systems—Andorran, Spanish and French—, which are completely public and of the highest quality. What’s more, we have a world-renowned healthcare system, which has partnerships and agreements in place with hospitals all over Europe.
Andorra takes great pride in its unique natural mountain environment, where it is possible to engage in a wide variety of sports activities—is yet another attractive incentive to take up residence in our country.
Andorra is found less than 2.5 hr. away from Barcelona, Toulouse and Perpignan, and is a mere 20 min. away from Andorra-La Seu d’Urgell Airport, from where you can fly to different destinations in our neighbouring countries.
Andorra has established a scheme to open up the economy to foreign investment which allows non-resident foreigners to set up companies, establish businesses and invest in all types of assets: company formation or share/stock purchase, investment in real estate, in portfolios or in other forms of investment (foundations, cooperatives, etc.)
A new legal framework
Since 2009, the Andorran government has signed tax information exchange agreements, as well as approved and implemented a new tax framework: 10% Corporation Tax (IS), 10% Personal Income Tax (IRPF), 10% Non-Resident Income Tax (IRNR) and 4.5% General Indirect Tax (IGI).
